You're not the only one. And if you don't feel like paying out the ass to eat at the Portland City Grill, you can now glimpse the Portland cityscape (if one could call it that) by way of Tram. That's right. OHSU has recently introduced a Tram to their Hospital/campus.
How is this free? It's not necessarily. The ride up the hill will cost you $4 if you choose to ride up on the Tram. You can also choose to catch the Trimet line 8 to OHSU/Marquam Hill, and you will pay only $2. If I take the bus, how would I be able to ride the Tram? What goes up must come down. The tram doesn't charge you to go down the hill. How will I find the tram when I get to OHSU from line 8? There are signs everywhere, but if you can't spot the signs there are information desks around ever corner in the Hospital with very friendly and helpful people.
With no space needle of our own, Portland constantly plays second fiddle to Seattle.
