ARE YOU TIRED OF LOOKING LIKE A CHARACTER FROM PORTLANDIA?

Great! Now is the perfect time for you to get a new wardrobe! You can start by schlepping your old clothes to your local Buffalo Exchange, Crossroads and Red Light. What exactly will happen? These stores will sort through your clothes and decide what they want, at that point you will have the option of taking either in store credit or cash. Generally, they will give you more money in store credit and less cash. Where do I go? Hawthorne Blvd (Southeast Portland) is the best place to sell clothes. Why? Because branches of all of these stores are located within two blocks  of  each other, making carrying all those heavy bags a lot easier on you.

Three Helpful Tips:

1. Call before you go! Ask the store what they are looking for right now. This will save you much time and effort.

2. Does your shirt have a stain? Your dress a tear? Fix it! The store buyers will be the first to tell you that they would have taken your item if it didn't have those fixable flaws.

3. What happens if the stores on Hawthorne don't buy my clothes? Good news! There are two Buffalo Exchange locations in Portland. If Hawthorne doesn't buy, try their location on Burnside & 10th Ave. in Downtown Portland.

Good Luck and Happy Selling!
